Welcome to marketer.ph, my personal outlet for sharing my marketing journey, experiments, musings, business ideas, and anything else interesting running through my mind.

I'm a marketer with 17 years of experience. I've led marketing for startups, corporations, and my own businesses.

My tl;dr timeline:

• 2009: Discovered the world of internet marketing (shoutout BHW!).
• 2009 to 2013: Did content marketing and SEO for online businesses while in college. Ran a small operation and even paid my classmates to work for me.
• 2013 to 2015: Ran digital marketing for Golden ABC and AXA Insurance. Helped hit major milestones in social media, ecommerce pilot launches, and SEO rankings. Formative years: this is where I learned how to work in corporate.
• 2015 to 2019: Breakout years. Led marketing teams for several tech startups, including Sprout Solutions, now considered one of the top tech companies in the Philippines. I also launched Social Media Academy, one of the country's first e-learning programs at the time. It peaked at 50K students. Absolute cinema.
• 2019 to 2022: Kept consulting for brands and teaching, and was selected by Facebook (Meta) as Community Circles Lead for the Philippines. I helped scale Facebook Groups growth in the country, and it was tons of fun!
• 2022 to now: Working at Sky Mavis, one of the leading companies in web3 (creators of Axie Infinity and Ronin Network). More recently, I've dived knee-deep into AI marketing.

What I'm working on now

Ronin Network. Helping scale growth for the leading gaming chain in crypto. My focus is building the most powerful and impactful creator program in the industry.

This website and my newsletter. I want to use this platform to teach what I know to aspiring marketers, freelancers, and small business owners. Marketing is a superpower, and with AI, it's more of an edge than ever. I want to do my part and help one million Filipinos use AI in their marketing!

My dream marketing app. I've wanted to build a marketing app since 2016, but I'm not a software engineer, so it never got off the ground. Thanks to AI, I can finally make it real. More soon, but I'm targeting a 2026 launch. Fingers crossed.

AI marketing courses and corporate trainings. I've always loved teaching, and lately I've been creating educational content on marketing in the age of AI.
